What most people don’t know is that I’m also a trader. An investor. An entrepreneur who built a second life in the markets — and honestly, it might be the part of my story I love the most.
I dual-majored in Law and Society and Economics at American University. The law took me around the world. But the economics never left me. Numbers are softer than statutes. The markets don’t argue with you — they just tell you the truth.
A few years back I shattered my wrist stepping into a taxi — missed my flight to Milan, landed in surgery instead of Italy. While I was healing, I learned to trade with one finger on my phone. I told that story on LinkedIn: the One Finger Empire. It was the most intense education of my life. And it turned into something real — trading became my income, my discipline, my refuge.
And yes — I’m a Berkshire Hathaway investor. Fractional shares of Class A and Class B. I’ve been to the Annual Meeting in Omaha twice. Walked that arena, sat with the greats, earned my seat. That’s not a costume I put on. It’s who I am.
