Takach Paper International and Legal-Ease International Unite to Support Israeli Communities with the Gift of Artistic ExpressionTwo renowned global companies, Takach Paper International and Legal-Ease International, have collaboratively launched a heartfelt initiative to ship high-quality paper, crayons, and coloring books to evacuated communities in Israel. In a world where despair often reigns, two global companies have come together, binding their resources to sow seeds of hope and expression through the medium of art in communities of Israel that have been displaced due to conflict. Takach Paper International, a provider of unique, high-quality paper for artists and printmakers worldwide, and Legal-Ease International, a global leader in legal English training, have initiated a compassionate joint venture to provide quality artistic materials to children and adults in evacuated Kibbutzim near the Gaza Strip. After learning about the schools’ closure and the evacuation of Kibbutzim, David Takach, owner of Takach Paper International, and Dena Falken, owner of Legal-Ease International, deliberated with their clients in Israel to identify a Kibbutzim hosting children from two evacuated communities. It was recognized that, amidst the tragedy and displacement, the universal language of art could serve as a medium through which those affected could find a semblance of peace and a channel for expression. Takach, whose paper travels from mills in Europe to Thailand before reaching artists on every continent, says, “Art is not merely a form of expression but also a potent instrument for healing, a release from trauma, and a silent voice amidst chaos. Our papers have traversed the world, and we are hopeful that, in these difficult times, they will serve as canvases of hope, dreams, and respite for the young and old alike in Israel.” This notion echoes the beliefs of Falken of Legal-Ease International, whose dedication to educating legal professionals globally about the art of “Legal English” now extends to endorsing the art of expression through creative means in times of crisis. “Education, in all its forms, including through the arts, is a pillar for strong communities. Amidst these dire circumstances, our hope is that providing resources for artistic expression will offer a semblance of normalcy and a channel for communication and processing emotions,” expresses Falken. Through this initiative, both companies, deeply embedded in their respect for art and education, have unified their purposes and resources. Not only have they managed to chip in together to cover the expenses for shipping the papers and art supplies to Israel, but they have also made it a point to emphasize the intrinsic value of art as a soulful remedy during trying times. Both Takach and Falken want to convey that their mission extends beyond a mere donation; it is an investment in mental health, an expression of solidarity, and a message of hope and unity across borders. They believe that even in times of turmoil, every individual, be they a child creating a birthday card or an adult finding solace in expression, deserves a canvas upon which to cast their feelings, dreams, and fears, unbridled and unjudged.
